Jil Tanner
She is DJ, producer and vocalist. Before Jil began her passionate way as a DJ in the Tech House and Techno Genre, she was – under an alias – a singer for well known DJs and Acts, first in the Studio 54 and House Genre and later on in the electronic dance music scene. She sang, wrote lyrics for her tracks, beside this also for other artists and has been a ghost singer for some Acts under different names for several studio productions. She loves to be creative and changing the moods & tools like a chameleon.
Jil´s journey has taken her all over Europe for round about 15 years like Danube Festival /Vienna, Olympia Stadium/ Innsbruck, SonneMondSterne/Saalburg, Sputnik Turntable Days & Spring Break, Live Aid Ball, Fanmile/ Berlin, Beatpatrol/Austria and many more. Growing up with underground hip hop & soul music and all the experience as singer and producer later on, she developed a deep passion for groove, melodies and bumping beats.
So, she took her time to start her new chapter with her passion for DJing and producing in the Tech House and Techno Genre with all facets what she adores, then sometimes she loves it a little dark but always with a happy soul. She has been awarded as a Finalist in the Final 4 from thousands for Tomorrowland´s Sound of Tomorrow with an energetic big live performance, streamed worldwide live through all Tomorrowland Channels. Jil released a very successful EP on Nicole Moudaber´s Mood Records, big Tracks on Great Stuff Recordings, gave her vocals for Moon Harbour´s Sven Tasnadi and his Track „Change“ (and Mathias Kaden´s Rompiste remix) on berlin based label Katermukke and released some banger in the near past on different underground labels.
Jil´s track „Rope“ (Sven Tasnadi Remix) is supported by Solomun. He played in his sets, especially at Pacha / Ibiza – which you can find on youtube!
